I’m excited about a new route I’ve found for tomorrow’s 11-mile long run.
Tom has a soccer game at 12:30 p.m. at Tiffany Springs Park in Platte County, Mo. If everything goes according to plan, we’ll head west after the final whistle on an 8.6-mile point-to-point route connecting Tiffany Springs Park and Platte City.
Over time, running routes can become routine. That’s why I’m excited to try a new trail tomorrow.
There’s not a lot of information on the web about the route, which runs west from Tiffany Springs Park to N Highway and then north to Humphrey Access Road. Truth is, I can’t tell if the trail has already been built or is proposed for the future.
Either way, though, we have clear directions where to run and a strong indication from Platte County planners that the route is a good one. That’s enough to entice this adventurer.
Check the blog again Sunday night. I’ll let you know how things go tomorrow.
Happy running!
